One of the four NDP leadership hopefuls is inviting people to Lunenburg to hear about his vision for Canada.
Jagmeet Singh will hold a meet and greet event at 6 p.m. tonight at the library on Pelham Street.
In a statement on Facebook, Singh says he wants to “get to know each other and talk about issues that matter.”
Singh, a provincial politician from Ontario, is up against Manitoba MP Niki Ashton, Quebec MP Guy Caron and Ontario MP Charlie Angus to replace Tom Mulcair as NDP leader.
Party members will vote for their successor on September 18.
