More tampered potatoes discovered in Atlantic Canada. Police say a potato with a needle inside it was found in a grocery store in southern Nova Scotia. RCMP in Yarmouth say the potato has been traced back to PEI. The spud turned up Thursday at a grocery store in Lower West Pubnico. The name on the bag is Market Town.They were part of the large recall issued when people started discovering needles in potatoes last month. Tampering cases have been reported in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. RCMP are still asking people to be careful when preparing potatoes purchased in early October.
