The Barrington Waterfront is getting a new boardwalk.
The upgrade is part of an ongoing project to create a park that will draw both tourists and people from the community.
Warden Eddie Nickerson says residents have been supportive.
“People have been very welcoming,” he says, “and they watch it develop day by day. There’s been some good positive input from our community
Nickerson says the project should be complete by spring 2016.
The cost is expected to be about $300,000.
