A long-time Bridgewater resident has passed away.
Mae Forbes died recently at age 105.
She was believed to be the oldest woman in the town.
Forbes was a dedicated volunteer with the United Church for almost four decades.
She also volunteered with the hospital auxiliary for almost 15 years and received the Caring Canadian award for her long service.
Forbes was a big help to others too – creating homemade costumes for local students and donating clothing to those in need.
A funeral service will not be held for Forbes.
