The Health Services Foundation has a new development officer.
Tina Hennigar from Mahone Bay will be taking over next week.
The position has been empty since Bernadette Jordan was elected MP for South Shore-St. Margaret’s.
Hennigar says she’s excited for what’s next.
“I just look forward to raising funds to bring more services, and keep services,” she says. “So our residents, our population, doesn’t have to leave and go elsewhere for services.”
Hennigar says previous positions have taught her how to engage with the community to raise funds.
She says, while there’s a steep learning curve, she’s ready to take on the new challenges.
