No South Shore Roads Listed In CAA Top 10 Campaign

Six of the top 10 worst roads in Atlantic Canada are in Nova Scotia.

Over 5,000 people voted during the month of April in the Canadian Automobile Association’s fifth annual campaign.

Spokesperson Gary Howard says many Nova Scotians have spoken.

“The Nova Scotia government does a really good job of spending back on the roads what they collect in taxes and fees. I think, for the most part, they’re doing the best they can.”

There were no roads indicated in the South Shore and the top two were in Newfoundland an Labrador.

Howard says road maintenance is essential to ensure safe and pleasant driving conditions.
