With a wide variety of nutrients ranging from magnesium to protein and zinc, pumpkin seeds are nutritional powerhouses wrapped up in a small package.
Kathy Smart is a best-selling author and nutritionist.
She says pumpkin seeds can also be eaten to help you get some extra rest.
“Pumpkin seed actually helps the body produce its own melatonin, which is a hormone to help you fall asleep.”
Smart says the best way to eat pumpkin seeds is to toss them with a little bit of olive oil, oregano, sea salt and crack black pepper then roast them.
