The Nova Scotia government has tasked an Atlantic Canadian company to conduct a feasibility study on tolling.
CBCL Limited won the tender at a bid of $897,128.
The company will look at eight sections of the 100-series highways to determine if tolls should be constructed.
It includes a 71 kilometre section of Highway 103 from Exit 5 in Tantallon to Exit 12 in Bridgewater.
The public will have a chance to give feedback on the study.
The process will be complete by the end of April.
