Chester’s Allison Chandler finished runner-up as the Nova Scotia Golf Association’s Junior Player of the Year.
Heather McLean of Ken-Wo topped Chandler by 44 points in the standings.
However, Chandler isn’t going home empty handed.
She was awarded the South Shore player of the year.
Chandler had an exceptional year from tee to green.
The 17-year-old won the CN Future Links Atlantic Golf Championship and NSGA Junior Championship in July.
She also represented Nova Scotia at the Canadian Junior Girls Golf Championship and won the women’s club championship at the Chester Golf Club.
