A former student at Forest Heights Community School is being remembered.
A special monument dedication ceremony will be held Friday for Private Richard Green.
He was killed by friendly fire while serving in Ahghanistan in 2002.
Green was just 21 years-old.
He graduated from Forest Heights in 1998.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the school.
