It is with deep sadness that the family of Kevin Earle Currie (60) of Dartmouth, share the news of his passing at home on Friday, October 16, 2026.

Born in Sheet Harbour, he was a son of the late Edward Currie and Evelyn (McGrath) Martin. Kevin was predeceased by his mother, father, and stepfather Ralph Martin.

Kevin leaves behind his brothers: Terry (Lynn); Alberta, Tim (Violet), Dean; Greg, Fall River; Cyril (Pauline), Sackville; Glenn (Dawn Adams), Halifax; and Francis (Heather), Enfield. He also leaves behind nieces, Shirley (Steve), Georgina (James), Melony, Samantha, Taylor (Mitch), Ashley (Shelby), and Ashley (Jeff); his nephews, Brad (Aleia), Bryan (Cassandra), Ryan, and Jordan; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, explore, go off-roading, and time spent with family and friends. He was a talented artist who loved to share with those wishing to learn.

In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a small celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or your local animal charity would be appreciated by his family as Kevin was a lover of animals.
