It is with heavy hearts that the family of Timothy Lee Tanner, 63, of Lunenburg, announces his passing at home on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Born in Lunenburg, Tim was the son of the late Gilbert (Jr.) and Patricia (Hall) Tanner. A true lifelong resident of the town he loved, Tim graduated from Lunenburg High School and immediately began a remarkable career with High Liner Foods. He remained a dedicated employee for forty-four years, working right up until his recent illness made it impossible to continue. In his younger years, Tim found peace in the outdoors, whether on an occasional hunting excursion or a quiet day spent fishing. He was a man of few words who found great contentment in the simple, steady rhythm of life in Lunenburg.

Tim is survived by his brother, Peter (Susan) Tanner of Bridgewater, and his sister, Jennifer (Peter) Young of Western Shore. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Nicole (Jon) Sawler, Jeffery (Megan) Young, Katelyn (Zack) Hogue, Joli Tanner, Will-Jay Tanner, Mira-Kole Tanner, and Tristan-Lee Tanner.

In accordance with Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
