Pay Attention Behind The Wheel

It may have happened to you.

The driver of the vehicle ahead does something completely unexpected.

If you’re not paying attention, you could be a victim of a crash.

Nova Scotia RCMP want every motorist to remember this: when driving, everything else is secondary.

Constable Chad Morrison says while cell phones remain the number one problem, there are other distractions.

“It could be noisy or disruptive passengers in your vehicle, all the other multi-tasking activities we do when we drive, controlling the radio and the wipers. sometime people exacerbate those by grooming or eating.”

He says you can reduce your chances of an accident by remaining focused and alert.
