Riverfest is over for another year and while numbers aren’t in yet, organizers say there was quite the crowd.
Jonathan Crouse says despite the rainy weather, many folks came out to Pine Grove to support the event.
“We had a very strong Friday. Saturday was a bit compromised due to the weather but in the end, we’re dealing with the situations that have been dealt to us and everybody is leaving with smiles and anticipating another year.”
Over 30 acts took to the stage Friday and Saturday.
Crouse says the event didn’t end until the early hours of Sunday.
“The last act was called for an encore and it actually ended at 4:55 a.m.”
After cost, money raised is going to 4-H and St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
