The popularity of personal chefs is reaching beyond urban centres.
The high demands on working parents is inspiring many to turn to personal chefs to help in the kitchen.
Deborah Washington offers personal chef services on the South Shore.
She says not only can personal chefs shoulder the burden, they can also meet the growing demand for 100-mile meals.
“You know, most chefs these days are very concerned about eating local, buying local, providing nutritious meals.”
Washington says meals can be re-heated and taken to work for lunch, helping people avoid processed food and take-out.
