Police Crack Down On Impaired Drivers Over Long Weekend

RCMP in Nova Scotia say 11 people were caught driving under the influence over the long weekend.

Police conducted 28 checkpoints over four days in eight different counties to crack down on impaired driving.

Eight people were impaired by alcohol while the three others were impaired by drugs.

Meanwhile, another 80 people received fines while 20 others were charged for driving without a valid drivers license.
