The Liverpool Privateers have been eliminated from the Nova Scotia Junior ‘B’ Hockey League playoffs.
A three goal third period was the difference as the Sackville Blazers defeated Liverpool 5-2 last night to win the best-of-seven series in five games.
The teams were tied at two heading into the third before the Blazers scored three times to clinch the series on home ice.
Ian MacPhee and Mitchell Baker scored for the Privateers and Keaghan Larade stopped 35 shots.
