A 74-year-old man has been arrested after a standoff with RCMP in Dublin Shore.
Police were notified around 10 a.m that the man barricaded himself in a house along Highway 331.
RCMP contained the scene and decided to call in its emergency response team and crisis negotiator after receiving further information.
Prior to their arrival, the man exited the home and was arrested without incident at approximately 1 p.m.
He was taken to the hospital for assessment following his arrest.
RCMP say the public was not at risk during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
