A Yarmouth man has been charged with attempted murder.
Twenty-three-year old Jairus Harold Berry was arrested last night following an investigation into a stabbing over the weekend.
RCMP say two men in their 20’s were walking near Collins Street when someone approached and stabbed on of them with a knife.
The man was taken to hospital but is expected to survive.
Berry is also facing charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Police don’t believe the incident was random.
He’s expected in Yarmouth Provincial Court tomorrow.
