A report of a man with a gun outside Bridgewater Mall last night turned out to be unfounded.
Bridgewater Police responded to the call shortly before 8:00pm and determined at no time was there a gun involved.
Police were directed by witnesses to a nearby wooded area.
A Bridgewater man was arrested shortly afterwards with assistance from K-9 Davis and his handler.
The man faces charges of Breach of Probation and Causing a Disturbance.
