The retrial of a Little Tancook Island Man convicted of a 2014 murder gets underway today.
Terry Roy Levy was found guilty of second degree murder in the death of his daughter’s partner Terry Green.
He was sentenced to 25 years with the possibility of parole after 10.
The appeal court of Nova Scotia granted Levy a retrial after finding the judge at the original trial didn’t properly instruct the jury.
Two weeks have been set aside for the retrial.
