Roseway Hospital’s emergency department will be closed for most of the weekend.
The department will close tomorrow morning at 6 and re-open Monday morning at 8.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says this is due to physician availability.
This is the latest in a long line of emergency department closures at the hospital in Shelburne.
Mayor Karen Mattatall and PC MLA Kim Masland have been vocal on the issue recently, calling for the government to do more to prevent closures.
