Staying with the NBA, Kobe Bryant leads the list in voting for the league’s all-star game in Toronto. Bryant has collected more than 719,000 votes, over 200,000 more than any other player. The game will be held February 14.

A long-standing rivalry will be renewed today at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Finland. Canada will play its first game of the tournament against the United States. Game time is 2 p.m. Atlantic.

The NHL returns to action tonight with nine games on the schedule. Montreal is in Washington, and Edmonton visits Vancouver.
