Liberal Majority Government Voted News Story Of The Year

The surprising Liberal majority victory in this year’s federal election has been chosen the news story of the year in a poll of Acadia Broadcasting news directors and reporters.

Justin Trudeau’s emergence as a national leader picked up 68 percent of the votes in our first annual poll.

“Canadians from all across this great country sent a clear message tonight. It’s time for a change in this country, my friends, a real change.”

The Paris terror attacks claimed 19 per cent of the vote.

The Syrian Refugee Crisis came in third at 13 per cent.
