Snow, Ice Pellets Expected In Lunenburg, Queens On Sunday

It was not a white Christmas on the South Shore, but that’s expected to change on Sunday.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Lunenburg county.

The weather agency forecasting 15 centimeters of snow mixing with ice pellets in the afternoon.

The wind is not considered to be much of a factor, gusting up to 40 km/h.

People should be prepared to adjust their driving conditions due to reduced visibility.

Meanwhile, a winter storm watch has been issued for Queens county.

Roughly 10 centimeters of snow is expected along with rain and freezing rain.

Shelburne county will get mostly rain on Sunday.
