The emergency department at Roseway Hospital is closed for the day.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says it’s due to physician availability.
It will re-open Monday at 8 a.m.
People living in Shelburne are urged to call 911 if they have an emergency or visit the nearest hospitals in Yarmouth or Liverpool.
You can also dial 811 and talk to a registered nurse.
