The long stretch of warm weather has resulted in a fire ban for the South Shore.
No burning is permitted in Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne or Yarmouth counties.
The Department of Natural Resources updates the burn restrictions daily at 2 p.m.
However, Environment Canada’s forecast does not include any wet weather in Lunenburg and Queens until a chance of showers on Thursday afternoon.
There is no rain expected in Shelburne or Yarmouth until Saturday night.
