Terry Roy Levy Retrial: Day 3

A tearful Nicole Levy says she had no idea what would happen on July 8th, 2014.

During cross examination yesterday afternoon defence lawyer Chris Manning pressed Nicole.

He suggests she was hoping for a confrontation between her boyfriend, Terry Green, and her father Terry Levy.

Nicole testified she received a call from Levy after a scuffle broke out at his home that morning.

She says Levy was upset saying “if he wants to play this game I’ll finish it once and for all”

Nicole says Terry Green overheard that conversation and set out to confront Levy again.

Nicole testified that on his way Green called her and asked her to find out if Levy had left his home with a gun.

Phone records show a quick series of calls between Nicole and other family members before she called Green back to say Levy was likely armed.

Manning says he doesn’t believe she’s telling the truth about that conversation.

He says if she knew Levy was waiting for Green with a weapon she would have begged Green to come back.

She says if she’d realized what could happen she would have done more to try to stop it.

Terry Levy was convicted in 2015 of murdering Terry Green but was granted a retrial by the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.
