Terry Roy Levy Retrial: Day 6

The case against Terry Roy Levy could be decided as early as today.

Both Sides presented their final statements yesterday afternoon.

The prosecution argues Levy killed Terry Green in cold blood.

Crown Attorney Alonzo Wright suggested to the jury Levy ambushed Green who didn’t see the attack coming.

He says Levy didn’t call out warning Green to stay back and once Green was dead Levy didn’t call for help.

The defence says Levy was afraid for his safety when he shot his daughter’s boyfriend.

Lawyer Chris Manning says his 60-year-old client was no match for 47-year-old Terry Green.

His says with two other altercations in the past 15 years, Levy had reason to believe Green was coming to beat him up.

Manning says Levy brought the gun to the confrontation because he knew he couldn’t defend himself without a weapon.

All that’s left now is the judges final instructions, then the jury will take over to decide if the prosecution has made their case.

The decision could come as early as today.
