Sixteen students looking to pursue post-secondary studies in the energy sector have been awarded scholarships.
The Pengrowth-Nova Scotia Energy Scholarship offers eight $10,000 renewable scholarships to university students, and
eight $2500 non-renewable scholarships to Nova Scotia Community College students.
Cole Jacquard of Yarmouth Memorial High School received a scholarship for the bachelor of arts program at Mount Allison University.
Connor Colquhoun of Drumlin Heights School in Argyle won an electrical construction and industrial certificate scholarship to the Nova Scotia Community College.
Dylan Foote of Lockeport Regional High School was awarded a survey technician scholarship to NSCC.
