Time Is Running Out For Lunenburg County Single Mother With Cystic Fibrosis

Friends and family are coming together to support Jennifer Crouse of Pinehurst raise money to cover the cost of getting to Toronto for surgery.

Crouse’s friend, Crystalanne Jensen says Jennifer’s expenses are in excess of 20-thousand dollars.

“She has to have a double lung transplant. That is in Toronto. When she first gets there she has to find her own housing.
After the procedure, she has to remain in Toronto for several months after that. She has to remain within a certain radius of the hospital in case something happens to her after the transplant,” said Jensen.

Crystalanne Jensen is looking for community support so Crouse can be there to watch her 11-year old daughter, Taylor grow up.

“She’s a sweet, loving little girl. A loving mother, daughter and friend who needs of some help to see that little girl grow up to be a woman.”

A pancake breakfast is planned for March 19th at the Local Pub in the Bridgewater Mall to help raise the necessary funds for Jennifer.

“Tickets are $15 per person. We need to sell a hundred tickets in order to make money for Jennifer. Tickets can be purchased at Charlies Pizza and Mainline Market on King Street in Bridgewater.”
