A three-month child abuse investigation has ended with the arrest of two people in Bridgewater.
A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were taken into custody after a baby was found to have been seriously injured.
They face charges of aggravated assault, criminal negligence, and failure to provide the necessities of life.
Identities aren’t being released to protect the child.
The pair have been released from custody and are due in Bridgewater Provincial Court on August 10.
