The South Shore Smash under-15 girls volleyball team are provincial champions.
The team captured gold over the weekend in the Tier 2 Blue Division event at the Bedford Hammonds Plains Centre.
The Smash played the Annapolis Blaze in the final, winning in three sets 17-25, 25-16, and 15-11.
Taylor Zinck and Kaitlin Fraser were named All-Stars.
Morgan Landry was named MVP.
The team trains at Centre Scolaire de la Rive-Sud and Bridgewater Junior High School.
A donation of $100 was made to Kidsport from Volleyball Nova Scotia in the name of South Shore Smash as part of the win.
