UPDATE: Man Surrenders To Police In Linnea Veinotte Disappearance Case

UPDATED: 6:45 AM

Police in Grenada say a man wanted for questioning in the disappearance of former Lunenburg resident Linnea Veinotte has surrendered to police.

The Royal Grenadian Police Force says 26-year-old Akim Frank turned himself in.

He is expected to be questioned this morning.

Police found a vehicle yesterday that matched the description of one that was linked to Veinotte’s disappearance.

Veinotte has been missing on the small Caribbean island since Sunday when she was running with the family dog.

Linnea is originally from New Denmark, New Brunswick, but she owns a home in Nova Scotia.
