VIDEO: Canada Remains Undefeated After Shutout Victory Over Korea

Canada and the U.S. both improved to 2-0 on day two of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge in Bridgewater.

The U.S. beat Russia 6-2 and Canada blanked Korea 2-0 to sit tied atop the standings.

Canada outshot Korea 23-8.

Forward Billy Bridges says they didn’t capitalize on many scoring chances.

“It’s our execution that we’ve been working on all year that we didn’t pull through today. There is no reason why we should get that many chances in the slot and not bury those goals.”

Ben Delaney and Tyler MacGregor scored the Canadian goals while goaltender Dominic Larocque got the shutout.

Man-Gyun Yu made 21 saves for the Koreans.

There are no games scheduled Tuesday with the preliminary round wrapping up on Wednesday.
