A mobile home in Queens County was destroyed this morning by fire.
Shortly before 9:00 a.m., local fire departments got a call that a structure was on fire on Highway 103 near Port Mouton.
Liverpool Fire Chief Stephen Parnell says there was some concern for the home owner.
“We were told that he was possibly here, because no one knew his whereabouts, so they told us he was possibly in the house.”
Parnell says the man was found unharmed.
Traffic was delayed along the highway for almost two hours while crews cleared the scene.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
An investigation is pending.
