VIDEO: MV Farley Mowat Removed From Shelburne Wharf

A small delay gave the MV Farley Mowat a little bit extra time in Shelburne, but not much.

The Canadian Coast Guard had to wait to give the green light to tow the derelict vessel from the original 7 a.m. start until nearly 10 a.m. due to rough sea conditions.

The MV Farley Mowat was then attached to the Atlantic Larch tugboat and towed out of the harbour.

The vessel will be towed for roughly 10 hours to Port Mersey Commercial Park in Queens County to be demolished.
