Weagle, Team NS Into Semis at Under-18 Canadian Curling Championship

The Nova Scotia boys have advanced to the semi-finals at the Under-18 Canadian Curling Championship in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

The team, featuring Chester’s Scott Weagle, plays British Columbia in the final four today.

The winner will head to the gold medal game to face either Ontario or Manitoba.

On the girls side, Nova Scotia was eliminated from playoff contention after a 7-6 loss Friday to Saskatchewan.

Taylour Stevens of Chester and her teammates finished with a 2-4 record.
