The West Kings Wolverines are this year’s Glen Murray High School hockey tournament champion. They beat the Barrington Barons 3-2 in double overtime to capture the title.
The Park View Panthers boys varsity basketball team is starting off the season in style. They defeated the Middleton Monarchs 99-81 to win the 44th annual Marquis Invitational tournament in Middleton. The Panthers won all three of their games.
Make it three straight wins for the O’Regans Subaru Western Hurricanes. The major bantam hockey club beat Truro 4-3 yesterday in a shootout. Kobe Jacklyn scored the game winner. Ewan Keays had a goal and two assists while Morgan Kini stopped 35 shots in the win.
