Will All Holiday Cartoon Favorites Be Moved From TV To Streaming Only??

I have to admit that I am a bit scared that this Halloween will begin a trend. If it continues I can also see the holidays changed forever. Imagine not seeing the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes, or Rudolph’s nose not lighting up the TV over Christmas. I hope they do not follow the Peanuts classics as those favorites have disappeared from free TV. This year for the first time in 54 years It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will not air on broadcast television. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas have also disappeared from “regular TV” to be offered only on Apple TV+. As long as you have a access to the service, they are offering a small window of time for free viewing.

Could this be the final nail in the coffin and the end for broadcast television? Maybe you are reading this thinking “Would you get with the times, TV has been dead for year…“. For a lot of people, I know the traditional TV has been eliminated for quite some time. Since our “High Speed Internet” buffers on regular basis while trying to watch a show online, we still rely on regular TV, commercials and all. The trend is definitely pointing to the death of broadcast television.
