A new cafe in Bridgewater is taking customer service to the next level.
A woman messaged the owners of the Interval Cafe concerned the intersection of King and Victoria, near their shop, wasn’t accessible for the visually impaired.
Bernice Theriault, one of the owners, says they decided to take on the problem.
“It’s an opportunity for us to share with the community something that will help make one person’s life a little bit better and hopefully there is more than just her that will be effected by the change.”
A letter went to council asking them to upgrade the crossing signal.
They say they’re looking into how much the change would cost.
Meanwhile, the new cafe is hoping to open in January.
