A Lunenburg hockey player has been invited to tryout for the under-18 Canadian team.
Walter Flower is among 44 players named to the selection camp to be held in Calgary from July 26 to August 2.

The 17 year-old defenceman, who plays for the Halifax Mooseheads, is vying for one of 22 roster spots.
Canada’s Men’s Under-18 Team will compete in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, between Aug. 8-12 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
