Some South Shore athletes had memorable performances at the Atlantic Track and Field Championships in Saint John.
Yarmouth’s Ryan Shay was on fire winning the 100m, 200m and 1500m wheelchair races.
Hudson Grimshaw-Surette of Southwest Nova won the junior 800m. He also placed second in the 400m.
Cameron Whynot of Lunenburg County won the youth shot put with a throw of 14.79m and also placed fifth in the discus.
Joshua Bell, also of Lunenburg County, won the youth discus with a throw of 48.98 metres and also placed second in javelin.
