A changing of the guard this week in three Lunenburg County towns.
Bridgewater, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg will all hold swearing-in ceremonies for new councils.
David Mitchell becomes the new mayor of Bridgewater tonight.
Cheryl Fougere is the only new councillor in the town. She will join Andrew Tanner, Wayne Thorburne, Michael Graves, Bill McInnis and Jennifer McDonald as the new council for the next four years.
David Devenne will be sworn-in as the new mayor of Mahone Bay on Tuesday.
New councillors in that town include Simone Chia-Kangata, Joseph Maxwell Feeney and Richard Nowe. Penny Carver, John Bain and Karl Nauss will also serve as councillors.
And Rachel Bailey returns as mayor of Lunenburg.
However, there are some new councillors that will be sworn-in on Tuesday including Ronnie Bachman, Joseph Carnevale and Brian Davis.
Danny Croft, Peter Mosher and John McGee will also be sworn-in and return as councillors.
