Two Lunenburg County mayors will highlight their 2018 term in office and look forward to things to come this year.
MODL Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson and Bridgewater Mayor David Mitchell will address people in an event organized by the Bridgewater and Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mitchell says he remains passionate in his role.
“Monday is especially my favourite day of the week because it’s council night,” says Mitchell.
“I can’t even exaggerate I love being the mayor of Bridgewater.”
Mitchell says the town isn’t without its challenges but feels his council is strong, works together and acts quickly to find solutions.
The mayors breakfast will be held Wednesday morning at 7:30 at the Best Western Plus in Cookville.
