A new national emergency alert system is being tested across Nova Scotia.
You will hear a loud sound followed by a spoken message at 2:55 Wednesday afternoon.
This station is participating in the test conducted by the Emergency Management Office.
The new system will include notifications being sent to first responders and emergency services on Twitter, Facebook and e-mail.
