It is with sadness that the family of Colleen Renee Whidden, 91, of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, announces her passing on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Wolfville Nursing Home.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Colleen is survived by her children, Kenneth (Virginia) Marum of Pleasantville, Keith Marum of Wolfville, and Karen Conrad (Robert Dion) of Kentville. She was a grandmother to Stephanie, Bill, Jessica, Anneka, and Tobias (Arin), and a great-grandmother to William.

Colleen had a lifelong love of animals, especially dogs. Her beloved dog, Zoe, held a special place in her heart and brought her much companionship and joy over the years.

Colleen was predeceased by her husband, Graham Whidden.

In keeping with Colleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no public memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

In memory of Colleen, donations to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter would be appreciated by her family.
