A pair of hockey players with the Liverpool Privateers have been recognized for their outstanding play this season.
Connor Barnhill has been named to the Fred Fox Division First All-Star Team at left wing.
Barnhill tallied 36 goals, tied for tops in the League, along with 43 assists.
The 79 total points left the second year assistant captain third in league scoring.
Also, forward Kayden Nickerson won the league’s rookie scoring title.
Nickerson had 23 goals along with 26 assists for 49 points, 10 more than runner-up Feargus MacDonald of the Antigonish Bulldogs.
The Privateers host Sackville on Saturday night at Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool at 7pm.
