Eight year-old Hailey Rodenhiser can still remember the day she was diagnosed with cancer.
It was December 9, 2014 and she recalls having a fever and an upset stomach.
Rodenhiser has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
She says she’s had to adjust to chemotherapy in her fight against the disease.
“Horrible at first but it’s better now that I’ve done it for a year and a half.”
Today is International Cancer Survivors Day.
The young Dayspring girl says the diagnosis changed her life forever but believes everything will be fine in the end.
She was recently the ambassador for Relay for Life in Bridgewater.
Rodenhiser says the support from family and friends has helped her through her courageous battle against cancer.
