All schools in Lunenburg County and Queens County are closed except for Liverpool Regional High School, South Queens Middle School and Dr. J.C. Wickwire Academy will remain open today.
Classes are also cancelled today at Centre Scolaire de la Rive Sud in Cookville.
The NSCC’s Lunenburg Campus is closed for the day due to a power outage.
Because of weather, schools in Digby and Yarmouth Counties are also closed today.
Shelburne County schools will be open.
Driving conditions in the South Shore are poor.
Plows are out doing their best to stay ahead of the snow.
There are a couple of Air Canada flights cancelled this morning to Ottawa and Sydney.
